FAQ

How does the Debugger work?

The Debugger uses gentle suction to capture bugs without having to touch or harm them. Simply switch it on, position the end of the tube over the bug and let the suction draw it inside. Once captured, close the lid to keep it safely contained until you're ready to release it outdoors.
What can the Debugger catch?

The Debugger is designed to catch a wide range of household bugs and insects, including spiders, moths, beetles, daddy long legs, bees and mosquitoes — plus many more. If it fits comfortably inside the tube, there’s a good chance the Debugger can catch it.
Will the Debugger harm the bug?

The Debugger is designed to capture bugs safely and humanely, without harming them. Its gentle suction draws the bug into the tube, while a fine protective mesh prevents it from being pulled any further into the device or coming into contact with the motor. The bug remains safely contained inside the tube until you're ready to release it outdoors.
How far does the Debugger reach?

The Debugger measures 65 cm from end to end, giving you plenty of extra reach for walls, corners and ceilings. And because you’ll be holding it at arm’s length, your actual reach is even further — exactly how far depends on you!
How do I release the bug?

Take the Debugger outside, open the lid and point the tube down towards the surface where you’d like to release the bug. Most will make their own way out naturally, but if needed, a gentle tap will help them along.
How do I recharge the Debugger?

Recharge the Debugger using the USB-A to USB-C cable provided. The indicator light will glow red while charging and turn green when fully charged. Please note that USB-C to USB-C cables are not compatible, so always charge using a USB-A power source.
